With two vibrant and virtuosic guitars at the front and a punchy double bass keeping the groove tight, the trio creates a musical journey back to the heyday of French jazz. You can almost feel the atmosphere of a smoky Parisian nightclub in the 1930s, but with a contemporary vigour and fresh, modern energy. The improvisations are elegant and playful, giving the music a constant sense of movement. The interaction between the musicians is close and characterised by mutual understanding.
