Et band til bryllup er for de par, der vil have et dansegulv, som fyldes af sig selv, når kagen er spist. Hvornår på dagen skal bandet spille?

Fortæl bandet tidligt, hvilken model I foretrækker, for det påvirker både opstilling, udstyr og pris.
Talerne er det, der oftest skubber tidsplanen. Aftal derfor, at bandet ikke er låst fast på et bestemt klokkeslæt, men starter, når toastmasteren giver signal. Spørg også, hvad det koster, hvis bandet skal vente en time længere end planlagt.
Hvor stort skal bryllupsbandet være?
Størrelsen afhænger af gæstetal, lokale og budget. Som tommelfingerregel giver en duo eller trio et intimt og fleksibelt udtryk til op mod 60-70 gæster. Første dans og jeres egne ønsker
Første dans er for mange par det øjeblik, hvor livemusik gør den største forskel. Bandet kan spille jeres sang i en version, der passer til jeres dans, fx lidt kortere, langsommere eller med en overgang til et hurtigt nummer, der trækker gæsterne med ud på gulvet.
Send sangen i god tid, så bandet kan øve den. Fortæl også, om I har øvet en koreografi til en bestemt optagelse, for så skal tempo og længde passe præcist. Nogle bands kan også lære et par ekstra ønskesange, mens andre har et fast repertoire, de holder sig til. Spørg på forhånd, hvad der er muligt, og om ekstra numre koster noget.

- Adgang: mulighed for at køre tæt på, så udstyret kan bæres ind uden trapper og lange gange.
- Telt: holdes festen i telt, skal der være gulv under bandet og læ for regn og fugt.
Aftal også, om bandet medbringer lys, og om de kan spille musik fra anlægget i pauserne, så dansegulvet ikke bliver tomt.

It is recommended to book as far in advance as possible if you have a very specific request for the music. This gives you the opportunity to consider the different options. For a single musician we recommend at least 2 x 2 meters, for a band we recommend at least 3 x 4 meters. Remember to have an electrical outlet nearby and a roof if the event is held outdoors.
