Ankerstjerne must rank as one of the greatest songwriters in Denmark. Behind him is a myriad of platinum certifications and a long career as an artist, songwriter, producer - and of course former judge in the Danish X-Factor.
Ankerstjerne released his debut album in 2011 - simply called 'Ankerstjerne' - and since then most people have noticed his great musicality - both as an artist, producer and the many times Ankerstjerne has contributed to some of the biggest hits in Denmark saw the light of day - for example "Øde Ø", "I Mine Øjne" and "Olivia" which he wrote with Rasmus Seebachs - and "Din For Evigt", "Kalder Mig Hjem" and "Karma" which he has written with Burhan G.
Ankerstarke's first single "Tag Hvad Du Vil" (feat. Burhan G) reached number two on both the single and airplay charts - and ended up with Ankerstarke's first platinum certification. Number two single "Nattog" (featuring Peter Bjørnskov) was released a week before the album itself and also achieved platinum certification.
Ankerstjerne worked for a while as a songwriter and producer for Rasmus Seebach, Burhan G, Nik & Jay and others, but released his second album 'For Os' in 2015. The album featured songs such as "Lille Hjerte" and "Mit Navn I Lys" and had guests such as Burhan G, Joey Moe and Shaka Loveless.

How far in advance is it recommended to book music?
It is recommended to book as early as possible if you have a very specific request for the music. This gives you the opportunity to consider the various options.
